Mary Kay Place -- why thanked, but not credited?
Didn't see the film, but caught the end credits and thought that was strange.
Any info?
It was a cameo appearance. She just had one scene.

If she did it as a favor (ie, gratis), then she wouldn't be credited because that would cause problems with the actor's union...
[It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level.]
Because her part was much bigger, but except for one scene, all of her work ended up on the cutting room floor.
