Robert Picardo

It was a hoot recognising him at the drive-in scene, didn't pick him as Wak though. How ironic that he had his beginnings in this movie, and just about all he's ever been seen in since is Star Trek, Star Gate, and other alien-based flicks.

He was 'Eddie the Mangler' from the first 'Howling' movie about Werewolves.

I've only just realised it's him, which is as good an excuse for a re-watch as any! :D

I did not know he was in this.
Will have to look out for him next time I watch it.

Yes another movie that surprised me that Robert Picardo was in during his humble beginnings was 976-EVIL. That is a classic film to watch. Robert Picardo also did The Burbs and he was in Amazing Stories as well.

Also in most unusual "kids" movie Motorama (1991). Never better than as the theatre manager in Joe Dante's Matinee (1993).

That is cool to hear!

Picardo become one of the "Dante players", appearing in several of his movies. He's great in his brief appearance as Cowboy in InnerSpace.

I just realized watching it today, Picardo is in this with James Cromwell, who he would appear with (though not together) in Star Trek: First Contact.

InnerSpace is mainly what I think of him from. He was hilarious as the Cowboy. That's such a great movie, glad to see it's finally coming to BluRay.

I hadn't thought of that. I love that movie, and I naturally love Picardo's cameo. I had completely forgotten that James Cromwell was in this movie until I unearthed it again recently. Well, forgot might be the wrong word, as the last time I had seen this movie I probably had no clue who James Cromwell was. When I came to know him as an actor later, I just never realized he was the guy who played the dad in that movie I used to watch as a kid.
