Is there a commentary track?

Watching it on Amazon Prime right now. Wondering if there is a commentary track of any kind on DVD or Blu-ray.

No. The US DVD includes some scenes cut from the home video version as a special feature. Those scenes were in the international versions though, and depending on what version Amazon has, may or may not be there in the movie.

There is a new DVD available from Shout! Factory. It does not have a commentary track unfortunately, but it does have extensive interviews with the creators, including Ethan Hawke and director Joe Dante. It includes the theatrical and home video cuts of the film, and also has deleted scenes. For some reason the deleted scenes have a commentary track from Dante. If he could do a commentary for the deleted scenes why not the whole film? Seems odd.
