Not bad for a crime-drama

"Don't Open Till Christmas" really is not that much of a slasher movie. The kills show just enough for one to get the idea. It also shows a lot of the two detectives trying to track the killer. It's atmospheric in portraying London. The acting is very good. I liked the twist in the revelation of the killer. "Don't Open Till Christmas" wouldn't be so underwhelming if it was packaged as a police detective drama - a blood-soaked one.

I liked the film too. I will have to order a better copy, though. I decided to get a cheap copy and the quality was absolutely dreadful which is a shame because it really isn't a bad movie.

Probably the Santa on the phone is the goriest piece. I wouldn't have taken on the job of the two detectives undercover in Santa suits.
