Will This Ever Be Released On DVD In North America?

I've noticed that this movie is available on DVD in Britain, but will it ever be released here? Would it be possible to order it from the UK and have it transferred to NTSC?

50 movies for one low price, including the one you're looking for. I don't have this set, I have the Sci-Fi one and it's not a rip off. All the DVDs work, and while they may not always be the best quality, they are fine quality to watch.

I bought the collection yesterday.

I have it on ALL Region DVD. It also includes the 50 minute 'Making Of Don't Open Till Christmas' documentary.

I'm dying to see this. I have read it is genuinely fascinating. The production history for this disaster intrigues me quite a bit.

And it comes out on its own DVD on Oct. 9th.

Nowhere near as bad as Passion of the Christ.

This film was alright... Nothing I haven't seen before in other Hack & Slash movies... I wasn't bored, and I was entrtained.
But if you guys hate life and want to watch a REALLY $h1tty movie...
Look up Love Rites. It was WAY awful. (look at my comment on it!)

Trust me,

Ditto on the 50 Drive In Movie Classics package. Just bought it yesterday (mainly for Don't Open Till Christmas, which I've wanted to see forever), but there's also a bunch of other good movies on there. Some slasher flicks from the 70's and 80's, a few sci-fi and monster movies, even some sex comedies. Well worth sixteen bucks.

Mondo Macabro is releasing DOTC on DVD this year. The tentative release date is 12/7.

Yeah, I just noticed it available for pre-order at Amazon. This is good news. I wonder what bonus features, if any, there will be.

I'd already found out about the bonus features elsewhere, but thank you for the reply.

There are 2 DVDs on Amazon, one from Mondo Macabro and the other from a place called "Mutant Sorority Pictures." Since the Mutant Sorority one was a few dollars cheaper I decided to order that one. The movie itself is actually pretty good but the quality of the DVD is absolutely dreadful. I could barely tell what was going on in the nighttime scenes when it was dark. I've seen VHS tapes from the '80s with much better quality. And I'm not even picky when it comes to HD. I'm content with just about anything in terms of visual/sound quality as long as I can see and hear what's going on so you know it has to be bad for me to complain.

I strongly encourage everyone to spend the few extra dollars and order the good DVD if you plan to buy this movie. Avoid the Mutant Sorority release at all costs.
