Very similar movie...

Okay, this is driving me insane, but I'm trying to remember a movie that I saw when I was a child. The images were SEARED into my brain, but I can't remember what the title was for the life of me.

The plot was pretty similar to D.A.R.Y.L., but the production quality was cheap, so that's lead me to believe that the movie I'm thinking of was a cheap knock-off.

The plot was that this old, single woman receives a freeze-dried child in a canister. She has to pour water on it, which hydrates it, and it considers her his mother. So as it turns out, there's some child-making corporation that sells genetically produced children to rich people. This child got sent to this woman by mistake. Well being a lonely old cat woman, she's not to keen on the idea of giving up the kid, so the movie is about them escaping the law together.

Does anybody remember that movie? What on earth was it called?!
