What is up withe the movie poster?

Ok so this got me back in the day and I still don’t know the answer. Why are the Jetsons on the movie poster ? The kid is looking in a computer and the Jetsons family is inside looking at him. Yeah I get it. Kid of the future or something like that but I was always waiting for the Jetsons to make an appearance. Been awhile since I have seen it but I don’t remember them ever in the movie. The old show and switch sneek sneek of them.

I always wondered this too. Could've simply been a marketing tie-in idea that never took off (get your merch promoted on a film poster!).

Sorry, but I can't think of strong a connection myself, except to show that he is futuristic, and he's a kid, so he watches The Jetsons.
