Agreed, it's a gem. You saw it on Netflix, I'm guessing, as many people now can. In addition, the movie's poster artwork is attractive and intriguing, so it may trigger more viewing on Netflix.

The story is king.
Hey thanks for that post, very interesting. I'm glad gems like this can now be found on Netflix and that D.A.R.Y.L. can now enjoy a new found popularity. I remembered the boy Barret Oliver from Never-ending Story and Frankenweenie and I'm glad I gave it a try. Gave me nice feeling when it was over. They really don't make movies like this anymore. The 80's were a special time.
