I heard from a friend at a transfer house that the Original Panavision Wide Screen Version, from the Answer Print has been transferred to High Def. and should be released on Blu-Ray by the end of the year with extras. :D

I have a hooky DVD transferred directly from VHS, but hot damn I love this film.
Okay, it's derivative, okay the creature (when you finally see it) looks pretty gay (no offense gays), but this is beautfiul, beatufiul tasty cheese indeed.
Plus it scared the living cremola out of me when I was but a nipper.
