Titan Find.
So why was it renamed Titan Find for the U.K any ideas?.As it only seems to be available on DVD as "Creature" on region 1.

shareCreature is a more simple title for the American audience. Titan Find is a far superior name but would confuse the average yank.
shareit took me a number of years (remember this was before the internet) to find out that Titan find (which is the film's original title) was changed to Creature. I think it was in Monsterland magazine where they had an article about this film (80s) and I have always wanted to see it and never found it. Now I know why
for arguments sake a friend of mine in Norway sent me a disc made from Norwegian vhs and told me it has more scenes and gore than the US release and uses the original films name. Will do a side by side to verify it

It is a metaphor for the movie. Like what you might find on your front lawn if a really large dog did his business there. A Titan Find.

Of course a Brit would claim a vague, faux-intellectual title as the superior way to go for a low-grade horror film. Makes you sound proud to have seen it, ready for lofty discussion with frequently raised eyebrows, probably to find out who the fun people are at boring parties. 'Titan Find' should be a brand of beer-filled condoms.

Nice blanket statement, with that logic... The average Brit would have trouble with the title as well, do you all even have a space program?
Didn't think so....
What's confusing about that? It's kind of a simplified two word plot summary.
Creature is a fitting title. This is a pretty by the numbers, unimaginative Alien imitator.

kester_pelagius,
Eventually I will do the side by side when I find some time. Even if I find just one extra scene that will solid the claim of more footage. In the meantime the disc is just sitting here on the floor.
however I can tell you this is on the Viking video release label (Norway) and in PAL format it runs 1hr 36 min 38 seconds

As its been over 2 years sinse this was posted, i guess he/she never got around to doing that comparison..?
shareYou are correct, however I will gladly copy the disc for anyone who wants it and if they want to take a shot with it. I will prob never get around to doing so myself. Just shoot me a PM
