Predator is a better quality film. It looks better, has a more intriguing script, and a far better production, better cast.
So why do I have more fun watching Commando? It doesn't have any obvious bullet point advantages over Predator. So, my opinion doesn't really make logical sense, but it's just how it is, I enjoy Commando more.
The word to describe Predator is grisly. Commando doesn't have people's spines and skulls being ripped out. No one is skinned ALIEEEVE! Also the villain in Predator doesn't look like a reject from Village People.
