Wish someone would do a fan edit to fix some goofs

I know there are many, but remember the big explosion twenty minutes near the end, when Matrix first arrives on the island? He's running from the soldiers and presses the switch, and the buildings behind him blow up. Almost all of the shots are worthless, as they clearly show dummies just on sticks not moving, as I'm sure you've all noticed. The only good shot in the final shot with him and the background exploding! It's spectacular and makes sense, even though the very final time delayed shot is decent. I don't get why the editor/director didn't spot this? It's not like they needed to show all of the angles and multiple takes to get the point across, and it actually is more effective to have just the one big shot of them exploding with Matrix and the soldiers behind him.

I think with some trims like this in a fan edit, the movie would come across a bit better, as would trying to fix some of the continuity with the Porsche damage, and a few other moments.

Watched this again last night, and had a blast! The finale despite the flaws is still awesome to this day! Love when Matrix has the shotgun and is ducking and firing outside!
