was it that hard to crop out the wire holding Sully?
I mean come on - also did the editor even realize it was pitch black outside shortly after entering the mall in the broad daylight?

shareIt's also difficult to hide spring boards in explosion-scenes, dummy mounts and the overall cardboard'ness of buildings being blownup.
It doesn't however seem all that difficult to find ludicrous false moustaches, or a self-healing yellow Porsche for that matter.
This movie is so riddled with mistakes and idiocy it has GOT to be some kind of record. :-)
none of this matters when you have muscles. perfect movie. 10/10.
shareI don't think I would describe Arnold's arms as "wires"...
shareNo, definately not, far from it. Actually they look more like a bag full of coconuts hanging from each of his shoulders.
But the metal wire attached to David Patrick Kelly's (Sully) led, sticking out through one of his trouser legs - visible as Arnold flips him upside down at the edge of the cliff - THAT is definately a wire. :)
-If made by George Lucas, this would be re-released 3 times - and by now be mostly cgi.
I was wondering about the wire too, but back in those days nobody really noticed the wire. I only noticed it once I got the movie on DVD first. I think it was barely noticeable on VHS before, because the picture wasn't that sharp, the same goes for dummies in the explosion.
sharei am surprised they just didn't let arnold pick him up for real.
shareThat wasn't a wire, it was webbing from one of Matrix's web shooters.
