Director's Cut / Uncut version

Could anyone be able to give me a hand finding the director's cut or uncut version of this awesome film?

I don't have a Blu Ray player unfortunately and can't buy the Director's Cut Blu Ray to see this film in all of it's uncensored glory!

Here in the UK Commando was absolutely butchered! All the good cuts censored out etc!

If anyone could point me in the right direction to a uncut Region 2 dvd that would be awesome!

Apparently the UK editors enjoyed cutting a little too much.

It is so damn annoying! I have it on VHS and DVD and they are basically unwatchable

I recently DVRed the film from a cable network, and they did the boring thing with the swear words....they just took the audio out. I like it better when they edit in other words. A personal fave is on The Breakfast Club when Bender is impersonating his dad

"Dad, what about you?"
"Flip you!"
"What about you?"
"FLIP YOU!"

I did a Google search and saw some copies of the Director's cut on DVD...the prices were all over the place, and I saw region 1 and 2 available. Do Blu-Rays not work in the UK? The cost of a Blu-Ray player has come way down.

In the UK here the editing is so blatantly obvious in some scenes when it comes to censoring! Quick cutaways and random changes in the music for example are a clear giveaway haha!

The only notable thing about the uncut version is the longer death scene in the tool shed, when one soldier gets his arm chopped off with an ax.

Scarface. When tony tells the old mummies in the restaurant that they are all a bunch of fking *beep* tv version dubs it as "you're all a bunch of funny animals". Lol

I think Die Hard With A Vengeance was the most heavily cut film I have ever seen! On the UK they cut the absolute crap out of it!

Commando got a better deal from our censors than poor Robocop did.

*beep* became "Mothercrusher" for example.

Also the scene in the convenience store with the robber wielding a sub-gun yelling "Fk me, Fk me, Fk me!" while blasting at Murphy. That got changed to "Fly me, Fly me Fy me!"

Most all of the violent scenes went too. Good thing i'd already seen it an untold amount of times on VHS.

edited for censors. is that ok?

I have to see this! Is the rest of the film filled with references to funny animals?
