Why couldn't Celie have any more kids?

Cuz God done fixed her. My guess would be complications from being 13 and giving birth in a barn. In the book Celie mentions that she no longer menstruates.

It was always implied that she had a difficult childbirth, so you could infer that she was damaged in some way from the pregnancy and unable to have children.
