If you get Encore Mystery, a cable movie channel, they've been airing it fairly regularly with the title "Terror at London Bridge". I'm watching it for the second time in several days. I'm enjoying it just as much as when it premiered in the Eighties. I had forgotten how tall Paul Rossilli is! What a shame the movie channels don't air "The Haunting Passion", starring Jane Seymour as the lonely woman haunted by the gorgeous ghost (Paul R).

This movie holds its own against many theatrical thrillers, with a great cast, soundtrack, setting, etc. What a castful of handsome men, even the "red herring" fellow! Nowadays, there might be some "eye candy", but they aren't generally very talented actors, and they certainly aren't as distinctive as these men.

I know this is an old post, but if you are still interested, Haunting Passion is up on Youtube.

Thank you! I know I have a not-very-good copy somewhere on the shelf, but it's nice having it as handy as YouTube.

I really appreciate the alert because I probably wouldn't have thought to search for it.

Your welcome!

Someone on the boards was telling me about this movie, and I saw your message -- I love the older TV movies... half of them I forget until someone else mentions them... and I love time travel stuff. Now I can download the ones that I find on Youtube, and that's even better. I really don't like watching tv on my computer screen, and my Nook is just too small...

I have a fairly nice-size screen on my laptop. Also, as bad as my eyesight is, it's actually great to watch it close up. So, I really appreciate knowing it's on YouTube for several reasons.

Again, I really appreciate it. I, too, love the TV movies and have found some on YouTube. Isn't there one titled "The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan", with Lindsay Wagner? I think it has a dress in the attic as the time-travel "device". I have a library of time-travel movies and novels; it's a topic that's fascinated me since I was a little girl in the Fifties.

That's it -- Great movie. I found it on sale as a manufactured VHS several years after it came out. Around 2000 I bought a DVD burner so I could convert my VHS library (including Jenny) to DVD. I still use it, but not as much. Now when I see a full movie on youtube that looks good, or that I remember from the old days, I download it, convert it to a avi file and load it on a thumb drive. I make a disc of it too - but I like thumb drives because they don't wear out. Also I can load the movie onto a DVD if someone else wants it.

I bought a good sized screen this year. I could watch a whole movie on the screen comfortably, the problem is my office chair isn't great (cats keep tearing up the more plush ones) and sitting on a hard chair to watch a full movie is annoying, If I download and put on a thumb drive I can watch the movie in the living room, in bed, wherever. I have a blue ray that is supposed to be able to play stuff on youtube, but half the time it won't do it, and I can't figure out why.

I don't understand anything about VHS to DVD or even downloading things. I've never learned to do any of that. Sometimes, I'd like to be able to make copies of my videotapes of Renaissance faires and other reenactment events.

I'm so tech-challenged. I've never made it into the 21st century and just barely the latter part of the 20th century.

At least, I can watch YouTube's movies and hope they'll stay put. And, I hope my VCR holds up. If it went out, I'd look for another player/recorder; I really prefer VHS that much.

a friend of mine sent me the link to download and install a program from the net. Once I downloaded the program I did scan it to make sure there were no viruses. Basically once it is installed, you take the URL from where you are on youtube when you are watching the vid, and past it into the converter.

then you download, which takes almost as much time as it takes to watch the movie... then I use another tab in the same converter to convert it to the avi file. I think there is a way to convert a file so you can put it on a nook, or ipad too.

I just downloaded this movie today, and have watched two other ones. great a way as any to have a Stay-cation!

Wow! You are much savvier about technology than I could ever be! I might be a crazy ol' cat lady, but I also am too old a dog to learn new tricks.

I have a printer/scanner/copier that's been set aside for weeks as I try to work up courage to hook it up to my laptop. Electrical stuff is SCARY={ *giggle* I need a computer-helper to do those things; unfortunately, my computer-savvy friend move far away when her husband got a better job. So, I'm stuck in my PC-dumbness. *sigh*

I'm lucky that I can navigate around the little part of the Net I know about.

I was so impressed with Paul Rossilli's performance that I started looking for his other acting roles. I think his is a very good actor and very handsome, too.
