$66 million dollars

Most of us on this board are thinking of ways to do this but we are looking at it all wrong. This movie was made in 1985. In 2013 $30 million is roughly $66 million.

The question becomes, how do you spend over $2 million a day for 30 days and not accumulate assets. Seems damn hard to do to me. Even if you rented out things and had really lavish parties and all that, you probably wouldn't be anywhere near $66 million without assets and getting value for your money.

But I guess that is the whole point of the movie- its really hard to spend money, get value and not accumulate assets.

Not that hard some celebs charge over 1 million for just 1 hour performance. I'd just throw a massive party in most expensive hotel for me and my mates and get Dr dre, snoop dog, eminem and ice cube to perform 'the up in smoke tour' plus could pay a load of top models or porn stars to appear it could end up costing 66 mil for one night.

If you have a bad coke habit and a gambling addiction, it can be easily done.

There are plenty of establishments that will cater to your budget, regardless of how large it is. You could easily spend that much in one insanely epic event, or a month of amazing partying.
