doesn't sound that hard

It's been a while since I've seen the movie but spending 30 million in 30 days sounds easy couldn't he just pay celebs for private performances that would easy cost a few million in just 1 day.

Or rent out the entire Plaza Hotel for a couple weeks. We should also keep in mind that $30 million back then was like $80 million today. Still, I imagine if you went into the plaza hotel back then and said "I want the most epic party ever for 30 days at $1 million per day including renting out every room in the hotel for all my guests." They would accommodate you and your budget as you wished. Then you just give them the $30 million, and party for a month till you get the $300 million.

There are certain stipulations. Try watching the movie first, then come up with the great ideas.

Like getting "value" for his money? How about right after he gets the cash he buys everyone on the street lunch at the fanciest place in town. If that qualifies(as it obviously did since he won the bet) than an epic 30 day party at the Plaza accommodating all his "guests" would most certainly qualify.
