I wish we could have seen him tell John Candy what was going on. The whole movie had Candy confused and thinking his buddy is crazy, would have been nice to see him find out why.

Wouldn't be bad if that photographer were in that same scene so John Candy could finally deck him for one of his mouthy comments.

I have the feeling that after he and Drake left the office, he had a press conference to explain to everyone what was going on and why he was spending that money like water. Then Spike and everyone else understood and I'm sure Brewster kept them on staff to help him invest his money and so forth.
