But wasn't Brewster's election idea the best idea to spend the money?
I see that a lot of people have started threads on how Brewster could have spent the money but wasn't his idea in the movie actually the best idea or one of the best ideas?

shareI thought it was a great idea, myself, though my only concern is that running a campaign for "none of the above" may not qualify for getting full value for the money spent (i.e. the election of no one).
But it's a pretty efficient way to blow through a buttload of money.

I think officially it was not "the election of no one". He was paying for ads for his mayoral campaign. He was actually running for mayor so it was value. He just said None of the above because he didn't want to be mayor. Then when told he was gonna probably be elected, he had to quit the race. Ironically, the ads provided too much value, because they worked and he was gonna win.
Yes, I think it is. I just posted a slight variation on this idea - buying tons of airtime on the networks - but I think this is the best way to dump a lot of money quickly.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
Well, it was a good idea. He needed it after he was back to square one with Spike making him 10 million dollars.
