Any others like this?
What a wonderful movie! Do you guys know any other similar movies?
shareIn what way? There are movies out there with a similar story (e.g. 'Secrets' is about five teens who get locked in a building together and bond, despite their differences - we have a good girl, a bad boy, a dork, a slut etc), but if you're looking for a similar vintage and feel, just start with John Hughes' movies.
shareSorry I know you answered this 7 years ago, but do you happen to know what year this 'Secrets' movie was released, or actors or anything? I searched for it on IMDB but couldn't find anything. Very curious. Years ago I wrote a book about 7 friends sitting around getting drunk and they each decide to reveal their biggest secrets, and it was also titled 'Secrets.' I never tried to publish it - just thought it funny that there's a movie with a very similar plot - would love to check it out.
shareLooks like it’s an Australian film from 1992. Found this in wikipedia:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secrets_(1992_Australian_film)
The page says, “The film has notable similarities to The Breakfast Club, in terms of plot, style, and characters”
It also has a link to the imdb page
Thanks so much for the link! Sounds like an interesting one, though the reviews don't look too kind ; (
shareUnderrated 80's Teen comedy
I would recommend Just One Of The Guys.
Like the post said any John Hughes movies
Pretty In Pink or Some Kind Of wonderful a good mix of comedy and drama
Cameron Crowes
Say Anything
The Sure Thing
Revenge Of The Nerds has very little drama but it has a lot of heart and The Big Bang Theory wouldn't exist without this movie

Well, there was a Dawson's Creek episode (season 1, episode 7) that basically copied the plot of this movie, the difference being that all the characters already knew each other and there were three girls and two boys.
shareMight not be the same but check out
Weird Science
Fast times Ridgemont high
Sixteen candles
Pretty in Pink
Just to name a few. Definitely anything directed by John Huges
