When I watched this on DVD, the disc must have been damaged, it was fine until just before the end of the ski race when it started playing up and I couldn't get it going again. So I don't know what happened right at the end. I tried looking on Wikipedia, sometimes it gives a blow by blow description in its articles about films but sometimes it just gives a general description. This was one of the latter.

shareLane won the ski race and Beth wants his ass back. Ricky and his dumb *beep* Mom come up and take Monique away because they didn't want her up there. Lane stops them and says Monique is with him and then the mother tells Ricky to take care of Lane so they have a sword fight with ski poles. Lane wins (Ricky curses at one point, which is funny) and takes Monique off in the Camaro. Fortunately, another girl finds Ricky attractive and they go off together while the mother calls for him but is ignored.
THEN THE *beep* WORLD BLOWS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally last scene during credits: outside shot of the meyer house at night, huge hole blows open in the roof and badger blasts off into space in a spaceship. perfect movie lol
"...Hey, at least now we know when the next train was due"
I don't think he blasts off in a spaceship, it is just that the spaceship he built takes off.
