It certainly hasn't been in wide circulation. I remember a couple years back, there was a Tab branded energy drink. I don't think the old school Tab you're thinking of has been in stores for many years .... I think.

I don't think I ever had it. Though the only soda I like is cream soda. I do not care for Coke, Pepsi, 7 Up, or Sprite. I used to like it but lost my liking of it after I quit drinking it for so long. I only have cream soda on special occations.

I'm sure I tried it back in the late 1960s or early 1970s, so too long to say how it is compares to Diet Coke. I really didn't start drinking diet soda until fairly recently.

I wasn't born til the mid 80s so I never heard of it. I never liked diet coke.

Tab had three things going for it: it was cold, it was wet, it had fizz.

Unfortunately, it tasted like cold, wet, fizzy dishwater.

I actually never got that joke. We never had tab in my country or maybe it was outphased by my time.
