Or make the damn kids BEHAVE, it's not a mystery of the universe. But damn that was a freaky as hell ending!
shareWatching it right now on SCI-FI channel. Moral? With great power comes great responsibility.
"Sometimes, a girl needs a half." Sex and The City
I doubt there is a moral to this one, she couldn't have prevented the missiles from being launched and without the necklace they would all die immediately and death is the only option she has.
shareThe whole episode was leading up to it. The people who came to see her at home, the news reports...she can't stop it, she can't keep everyone frozen forever. I don't think she had the option to ask one person to speak.
Weirdest episode ever.

I felt that the moral was that you can't ignore problems as they will come to head. Stopping time didn't stop her family from being horrible when she restarted time. It was only a temporary fix. Disciplining the kids and telling her husband he was a douche would have been wiser.
On a grander scale, society as a whole shouldn't ignore a global crisis like the escalating cold war in the story. If everyone (society, governments, U2's Bono) stepped up to avoid things from escalating, maybe the nukes wouldn't have happened. I guess you can extend this to whatever the new hot issue is - global warming, foreign policy, whatever floats your boat.
I loved the ending. It was visually stunning and very creepy. This was one of the better TZ episodes for me.
That's a good point, minhas, I hadn't thought about that but I do agree, those brats would've NEVER gotten away with that constant screaming in our household.
