'Shadow Man'

I believe this is an ep of this series. The story seems very familiar and I was wondering if it was based on an older story. Does anyone know the origins?

I was young when the Shadowman ep came out. It scared the hell out of me! Lol!

Not based on an older story.

It was written by Rockne S. O'Bannon (TV writer and creator of 'Farscape' and many other alien-type TV shows).

Teleplay was directed by Joe Dante (who also directed 'Gremlins').

'The Shadow Man' is one of my fave episodes :)

Stories of people seeing the "Shadow Man" go back for generations.

Are you speaking of 'shadow people'?

While there are stories of 'shadow people' that go back for generations, I don't think the story as written and portrayed in 'The Shadow Man' does.

Shadow man, man in the black hat....yes, there are stories of people seeing a man like that going back for generations.

I suggest you "Google" it. There are plenty of stories out there. Start wherever you wish.
