Anyone else here ever..

do the countdown on their bike? LOL. I had a small Honda 50 when I was around 10 that I would ride slow. Then I would say (while wearing my big 80s helmet) "hyperthrust.. clear and counting. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..". I would then rev it up and take off. Ok... so I was probably only going about 20mph on that tiny thing... but it felt ike 300. LMAO. Man.. I was a dork. Actually, I still am and proud of it. Just glad I'm married.. or I'd never get laid. LOL

I used to do the same thing, but my parents weren't as rich as yours and I only had a cheapo Huffy BMX. I would count down 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!!! then pretend one of the bolts holding the handlebars intact was my hyperthrust button then I would pedal my little legs to their limit. I probably reached 25 MPH max. I always wanted to do the turbo boost thingee jump but my heavyass cheap metal framed Huffy would have exploded upon landing and would probably have seriously maimed or killed me.

Did it on my BMX :P You know the part of a curb (kerb?) that slopes down - a driveway? My friend and I used to do magnificant 3 inches jumps into the air from those haha. The nut on the handlebars that holds the bars onto the mainframe, that was the countdown button.

So to sum up, I'd appreciate it if you and the other millions of readers out there kept this to yourselves, cheers.

Yeah, I did it on my BMX too when I would blast down the hill on the way home from my freind's house [and usually right through a 4 way stop ].
