The SyFy Network should grab the rights to this and...
...make a new Street Hawk TV show, if not, at least a TV movie. Joe and Rex said they would be on board for another Street Hawk, so why not?
My idea for the pilot/tv movie:
It's now years later, and despite Norman Tuttle's numerous attempts to keep the project alive, project Street Hawk was abandoned. Norman was reassigned to another project and Jesse continued working for the LAPD. Unbeknownst to them, a top secret government agency decided to militarize Street Hawk and started designing a new and improved prototype of the bike, Street Hawk 2.0. To make a long story short, the bike is stolen by the test driver who turns out to be crooked, and the criminal organization he works for is using it to hit armored cars. So the agency (embarrassed by their failure and wanting to clean up their mistake a.s.a.p.) call in Norman and Jesse and give them full access to their facility where they can revamp the old Street Hawk with some of the new tech gadgets used on Street Hawk 2.0 (one of which I thought worth mentioning is an energy shield that surrounds the Bike and it's driver to deflect bullets). Norm and Jesse are now tasked to take down the new Street Hawk 2.0.
P.S. You have to throw in a hot chick in a lab coat and glasses (the designer of the new Street Hawk 2.0) who is assigned to help out the duo, you know, as a romantic interest for Jesse and a person to butt heads with Norm regarding how to run things in the command center.
The good guys always win, even in the eighties.
