Did your Season 1 DVD arrive yet?!!?

Mine arrived today! Can't wait to get home and watch it! Yay!

Yeah, I love the lines they wrote for Jamie. Good stuff. There's a lot of sexual undertones between the parents. Pretty funny. Obviously I never picked up on them when I was a kid. The wife and I are enjoying it so far.

Mine arrived today.

There is a misprint on the back cover where it says "Small Wonder aired for five seasons in syndication".

This show only had 4 seasons.

I have had it with these m** f** tribbles on my m** f** ship! - Capt James T. Kirk

I ordered from Amazon on a Thursday, and it was delivered on Monday. Only $24.99 and free shipping, since I bought something else with it, too. You can't beat that! :) I went through all the Season 1 episodes in a few days. I was genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed it. It was something I loved as a kid, so I knew I had to own the DVD, but I really expected it to be super-cheesy - and it wasn't. I mean, it was a little, but it's funny too. The writing is good, I like the characters, and Vicky is a riot. I loved when she randomly stood up and started dancing like Michael Jackson. And Harriet is every bit as hysterical as she was 15 years ago, when I used to watch the show.

The only disappointment is that there weren't any cast interviews - although there were a few commentary tracks, and those were fun to listen to. Maybe they'll add some interviews for the next set, if there is one. I'd love to see the kids all grown up, especially Emily Schulman (Harriet). The last time I saw her was in a show called "Christy" when she was a young teenager, and I'd love to see what she looks like now.

I am truly hoping Season 2 will come out fairly quickly. It will all depend on how sales go. Shout Factory is pretty dependable, so they'll most likely get all four seasons out eventually, but I hope it doesn't take years, like it did with Punky Brewster. I am definitely ready for some new episodes!

Thanks for that website link - it's cool to see what Emily Schulman looks like now. But geez, the people maintaining that site are downright cruel! It's kind of funny that people out there can be so mean, but I guess that's just the way it is.

I got mine the Thursday after it was released. I already can't wait for season 2. This was my first favorite show.

I actually met Emily Schulman when I was 14. It was 9 years after the show was cancelled, but I was still excited. It was freaking Harriet Brindle. She was a talent agent at the time. I heard somewhere she wasn't a talent agent anymore, but that could be as true as Jerry Supiran being Billy Corgan, and I haven't been able to confirm either way.
