Rented off Netflix/Watching Season I right now..

I had forgotten about this show until a couple of days ago, even though I actually have a couple of episodes recorded on VHS.

The writing on this is amazingly good for a low budget series. I laughed out loud more than a few times. For a kid's show, it has a fair amount of "adult" humor, just little things that an adult would catch.

According to the extras, Tiffany's mom was always trying to get them to allow Tiffany to use a more natural tone. However, the producers said no. However, that didn't stop her, and if you listen carefully, there was a couple of times that she dropped in a normal tone. It's subtle but it's there. You can also see just a little bit of Tiffany's true personality in Vici.

No offense, but that's AWESOME! How it's stood the test of time on VHS.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed it.

In the episode that Jamie has a garage sale, Jamie asks Vici how much they've taken in. Vici replies, "All together?" in a sub-normal voice.

I guess it's human nature to raise our voice in pitch when asking a question. That's maybe why it was left like that.
