I just watched the episode where the families compete on Beat Thy Neighbor, and each team had a nameplate on their side, one reading "The Brindle's" and one "The Lawson's" and I just couldn't believe that on a network show like this nobody noticed that the apostrophe being there is like an elementary school mistake. Yikes.

I just saw that episode literally an hour ago, and yeah I think it works both ways in some states.
