So who IS their father? Connection to Ramsay Street?

Is it an old classic character that we would recognize? Or just meh?

Going by there age of being around mid to late 20's (I'm thinking maybe around the age of 28/27) - the only doctor I can think of back then is Clive Gibbons - who was in the show 1986-1987 and then again 1989.

So considering there is no story mention of anything - maybe something happened between the time we didn't see Clive?
Maybe their mother gave her parents a false name?

It would certainly be an interesting twist if it was Clive and they got Geoff was to come back, because he was a really funny character.

Well Clive was caucasian and ginger haired and Leo and David appear to have some oriental blood so I very much doubt that...unless that comes from their mum!

 It's indie rock and roll for me 

reply

I assumed they were of Polynesian or Filipino descent, dunno why. It could be off their Mum, but they don't look mixed race to me. I'm basing this on nothing though, so I could be totally wrong.

Are they to become permanent? Hope so. I like them. They could live locally, but not RS or is that too radical?

reply

There's been other Doctor's over the years. Sarah's husband Peter. Poor Rhys. And Darcy. But none that would have absolutely any impact at all as their father

Of course, may not be a doctor at all and that could be a false lead. Maybe it's no one we know at all. Maybe it's the late mother who was the connection (did David and Karl mention her name?)

I hope Brad isn't the father as it's too obvious and seriously how many kids has he fathered lol.

I just hope they don't drag it out too much and tell us before it gets boring

reply

I would hope if it was Adam Willis, that he and Gemma haven't split; because it's a connection to the old school Ramsay side as well.

We haven't heard the mother's name mentioned, other then that she was a teenager and her parents were really strict.

When Karl mentioned 'Bradley' I automatically thought of Brad. Then about ten minutes later I remembered he wasn't a doctor, but then he wasn't a teacher either back on the olden days. In fact he was initially a dumb blond.
Is it possible it was Doug Willis somehow. I know he's not a doctor either, but the 'Bradley' reference doesn't have to be the father. Could be a relative of the father. They were also specific about the clothing..... Why? What dod Mr Allessi do for a living? I forget.

After a wee trip over to Perfect blend, I see Adam Willis was a doctor..... Bradley/ Brads brother..

reply

Omg... Surely Adam Willis would be too good to be true though, right?

reply

I forgot about Adam Willis, being a doctor.
As I was going back to much older years - but that too would be an interesting twist.
The mother knowing Adam has a younger brother Brad, tells her over protective parents that is the name of the father.
And although we haven't heard what he's been doing since, what we do know is that Adam moved to NSW also, to be with Gemma Ramsay; who was the younger daughter of Tom Ramsay.

The Alessi's were Italian - and none of them were doctors.

There's really no one else I can think of besides Clive or Adam. Or some random which they'll probably do. Ugh. After all this hype. Or did I just imagine that? They DID say there was a big connection to Ramsay Street, right?

reply

Yeah, I can't see them bringing in another couple of main characters without there being some connection that of the past.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I was really starting to be a bit of a negative nelly with Jason recently, and then he pulled out the whole Dee thing, OMG. So now let's see!! It might be really cool!!

reply

It would be brilliant if it was Adam. Cool to see him again if they bring him back. (Probably recast though). Although that would probably mean him and Gemma were split - and that would be a shame as it's a connection to the Ramsay's

Equally cool if it was the lovely Clive

reply

That was my first thought, too. I wonder if it is at least a clue to a connection to the Willises one way or another?

reply

I would also hope if it is Adam that he makes an appearance. Not just Brad on the phone to him and then Brad being all over protective... You're family now etc. Move in with us so we can fill Larens house as her own kids have all ran away.

reply

I'd like to see that.

Or... I don't remember if Brad had any other relatives who it could be?
