I'm disappointed Hilary disappeared maybe the actress had second thoughts? They set it up perfect for her to be on going recurring charterer with the school money

If I'm not mistaken, Hilary turns up in 1987 for Scott and Charlene's wedding. This is how Jim meets his second wife Beverly.

She makes an appearance in the one of the first 56 as I saw her on my DVD.

Might be confusing her with Des's mother Eileen. Says on Perfect Blend as well, she came in for Scott & Charlene's wedding 1987.

Hmm, I was sure it was Hillary-same actress too. I'm defo not confusing her with Des' mum, maybe I have imagined it all or dreamt it. I'm not at my house at the mo, so can't check.

Is Hilary the older lady who turns up occasionally even now? She was on at some point in the last few months talking to Paul? I believe she is a Robinson.

Hilary is Jim Robison (Paul dad) cousin

i never saw her when she use be in it. But she came back for the 30th anniversary and has been poping up since she was one who told Naomi where to find Amy

she gave the school some money or something under condition she got be hands on with how it used. (back in her orginal stint she was school librarian) I thought that was the show setting up reason for seeing her more

last time we saw her was after the hotel exploration Ned was tending to her she had miner injurys

Yes, I think the explosion aftermath is what I'm thinking of, and didn't she walk past the painting of Mrs Mangel at some point as well? I think I remember seeing her in the Waterhole at some point after or before that - it's pretty vague, sorry :)

She's had plenty of one off guest appearances... People need to understand that actors aren't available they're not available... the actress would be in her 70's now. She's probably long retired and who knows where she's living. Just be thankful for what you get.

She was on the show around the time of the explosion so she's clearly at least occasionally available, otherwise I agree mostly.

My take on all of this: Have no problem that she hasn't come back. That's up to her. But storyline wise, they kind of left it a bit open... So thank the writers for that one :-)

That is true. Maybe they haven't been able to fit both schedules (show and the actress's) together or something like that.
