it seem when ever a charterer get pregnant you can expect there exit with in the next year only few mums who stay for while only ones i can think of that stay over a year are top of my head

also clearly not a mum but Declan stayed around as single dad and i really enjoyed it (till the recast) but think dads who stayed aroubd with the kid even rarer
Good point!! Is it because the actress is usually pregnant too, so goes on mat. leave? Or is it just a convenient way to write characters out in a positive way?

been nice see a character grow up on screen from baby to high school (with little aging up) i know of two characters this has happen to on home and away. Who knows maybe Nelle
Lucy has kinda grown up on Ramsay Street. With a few long time away stints, recasts, and SORASing.
I hope Nell grows up until at least 10, on the show.

Lou raised Lolly for years until they had that ridiculous storyline where he wasn't her father after all.
I think for the most part the actresses want to leave, or the writers just find it limiting for characters when it comes to stories when they've got kids so axe them, eg. Vanessa.

yeah why they wrote out Lolly when Lou was going be around for many years to come i don't know. Children very easy to recast she could been first child we actully got to see grow up
