You would have thought with the doctors investigating what is wrong with Brad, they would check the ink that was used for his tattoo as it was his most recent 'injury'.
As they have no clue, wouldn't they be doing all sorts of blood tests, searching for things that they normally wouldn't check for? Asking about everything that Brad has eaten or drunk, maybe see if he came across something at the crash site that could have effected him or checked the tattoo ink!!
I hope this isn't going to be down to Angus getting sick to make the link, because it should be obvious for them to check for any infections due to a recent tattoo.
That was funny, though admittedly Paige did say she didn't pick up on the clue with him saying he hoped she liked surprises, as well. Not that it was even really obvious.
Though arsenic? How old-fashioned of Jacka. I usually think of arsenic as how the killer did it in a few of Agatha Christie's books. Maybe it's one of those things that has symptoms similar to other things, though.
Funny, I was thinking he was being made up to look quite the opposite of healthy as of last night. I mean, not incredibly bad, but definitely obvious, at least to me.
You would think that, but maybe it's not how the poison works? Though you'd think the tat would show some infection.
Yeah, I've no idea really, so I'll happily go along with whatever they say...It might cause skin cancer though, then he'd have to have a graft over his tattoo.
Have they ever done a proper cancer story? Not Paul's, a proper one?
They did a cancer storyline with Steph, who developed breast cancer when pregnant with Charlie. She actually mentioned chemo affecting her fertility yesterday. Lucy Robinson the second had a brain tumour too many moons ago.
Oh yeah, I caught the chemo comment but didn't click.
It would be good to have a killed off by cancer story. They'd have to run it over a year or two though. I'm not sure I'd want that for Brad, mind...Maybe Jack - and then a late night special where he burns in hell!
Haha. I'd love for Neighbours to do one of those dodgy twin stories, where the same actor comes back.
Yeah, or just a brother - that would be cool - and Paige could marry him, with Jack performing the ceremony! A wayward sister works too, although Simone is kinda taking that role,ATM.
I would love to see that, it can be fun. Some have really worked and some... really haven't, that I've seen over the years.
It would be fun, and she kind of is. I also am not sure I hate her as much as I thought I did. She is a bit weird, but I feel like it's being set up that there's something bad going on with her unrelated to Jack - I'm feeling like he might be her clinging onto the good times. Still not sure I like her behaviour but am starting to understand it.
I like that, too. I think he'd work better in some ways as another character - I really liked him on H&A except for the weird way they wrote him off - just sort of said he'd had bipolar all along and then he went home to his parents who he never got along with. It was just odd - but then some exits are from the soaps.
I definitely think there's something nasty. I'm feeling quite sympathetic toward her if there is, but I still don't fully trust her, either.
I think they made a bad move having him be a priest at this point, quite honestly - I feel like he and Paige would've been way less irritating if they hadn't had that be the obstacle.
Yes. I definitely don't quite like her yet. But it may end up being like Cooper, where there is a possibility of redemption even if it's offscreen.
They've just dragged it on for too long, for my liking. They still haven't learned. Two years ago, you had Kate dying, funeral, headstone all in one ep, and then you had something like Dimato going on for like thirty years. It's still so uneven for me.
Well, the thing is, it's not something that they could not drag on and write respectfully given the religion angle, which is why I feel at this point that it was the wrong obstacle for them. But of course there would or could have been ways to shorten it a bit and not have it be really gratuitous.
I agree, The story is turning into a crusade against the church, (ironically). I feel Jack has been a bit more likeable in the last few episodes, though.
Maybe that's actually the intent? Because some of it doesn't feel exactly unintended. I agree on Jack, definitely. I think when he's not doing so much of the mooning over Paige, he's more interesting. Plus he had some good scenes with Simone.
