shareSo it will have been off what then, a month? Why do they take it off for so long it's really annoying. We're on the same day in the UK as Oz now so just don't understand.

Um don't you realize how the UK caught up in the first place????
they always take it off for a month or so over the Australian summer Xmas period where ratings aren't a priority. The cast and crew are just like the rest of us and deserve a break from production and take holidays. In the UK it's different as you've been gradually catching up over the years so previously you've only got a 2 week break because the episodes have already aired here, now that you've caught up you'll now get the same 5 week break us Aussies get each year.
