The other thing about this storyline is...

It could trigger a relapse for Sonya. I think there have been people who've been wondering about that for years.

I know I have been wondering about a relapse for years! We know she has a dark side, but we only know her as a peace loving hippie. It would be very interesting to her derail.

To be honest, I can see her miscarry the child because of the stress (?) and than spiral out of control. I really can't see Mark and Sonia's child ever being born. With Paige pregnant as well, there would be too many infants in the show.

Maybe this is what they were talking about, when they said "it gets really dark" or something to that effect. So much to consider here. It's overwhelming! All the older characters would have some kind of personal reaction to this, I think, including Paul. What if they revisited Paul's first marriage to Terry? That's where he started going wrong!

It really feels like a 'full circle' type of story line. And for loyal Neighbours watchers, it's very rewarding :-)

I can't remember Terry though, I must have been very young (started watching when I was 7)... Do you think there's a link between Dee/Toady/Kennedy's and Paul? Was Paul around when Dee vanished? I don't think he was, but in my memory, Dee died 20 years ago... I get timelines mixed up.

Paul came back at the end of 2004 in the cliffhanger. Dee went missing in about mid 2003? Terry was from the original season, back when it was on Channel 7. That's another one I'd love for them to revisit, because again that's where it all kind of started.
