Piper appreciation thread

I want to see the sexy video she sent Tyler (and who wants to bet she accidentally sends it to all her followers?)

reply

Oh man, she looked so hot in that skirt when she was trying to seduce him. I don't know how Tyler resisted.

(Have you noticed they never say what age the two of them are? Piper was sixteen when she first came into it but now they just say she's a "teenager" and Tyler could be anything from 20 to 25.)

reply

Yeah, I agree!!

reply

she's an absolute beauty

reply

Piper said the other day, she was 17.

Tyler was apparently 24. I have only heard that via IMDB, (here),so maybe wrong. I think he was born in 1991 - so he's now 25 - I'm sure he has a tattoo saying that.

If something's hard to do - it's not worth doing

reply

Lucky she didn't, but yes, she's very pretty.

reply

Pipethrob Willis.

reply

Tyler making out with her while she's got her school uniform on...

reply

She's a lovely looking lady.

I know the school uniform/kissing was a bit odd, but I suppose would/could happen.

If something's hard to do - it's not worth doing

reply

She wears the school uniform well.

reply

She does indeed. I think she's super attractive, but in an untypical way.

reply

Everyone except Piper is annoying the crap out of me at the moment.

Let's look at Piper's show history...

Coming in off the back of giving up her home in Canada to help support her parents through their very messy marriage break-up, & her psychotic ex kidnapping her, she has to cope with her Grandfather's dementia.

Her brother & Grandfather die in a horrific accident.

Her Sister ditches them all for the states.

She falls in love with her best friend, whom she can't have.

Her "alcoholic" mother drinks herself in to a coma, which Piper has to sort out.

Her best friend returns her love, but her parents ban them from each other for no decent reason.

Her lover/friend then acts like a rat b*st*rd & throws it all in her face, meaning she loses him as a friend.

Her sister sleeps with Tyler, (which only Lauren seems to give a damn about).

Xanthe unfriends her, leaving her pretty alone with only one friend - Ben. The teacher with whom she already has issues, makes a glib and personal comment to her - yet Piper ends up in detention, despite being truly sorry!!

Her parents have not offered any condolence or support.

Have I missed anything?

Therese,Tyler,Paige,& Brad deserve some serious comeuppance!!

Drinks were few and the people many... it was everything I expected and less

reply

I do feel the age difference is a decent reason for her parents not approving of her being with Tyler. I thought he was only like 19 but apparently he's 24? That's too much.

reply

I don't think age is a good reason. The individuals have proved themselves to be appropriate for one another.

The 7 years is quite stark because they are young, but I don't think that should matter.

If it were real life & my daughter, I'd be OK with it...Well not now he's shagged Paige, but before that-fine.

reply

I do, and age is one of the few things I feel is a good reason. It's more that she's so much younger and that he's as old as he is.

reply

Maybe I'm unusually liberal then. I just know that, if it was me, banning them/me from each other/him would be the worst way to approach the situation. It's very short sighted and dangerous parenting.

The hypocrisy of Brad and Therese just makes the situation 100 times worse.

reply

I agree with you. I remember being Piper's age and my mother would have felt lucky to have someone like Tyler hanging around instead of the dropkicks I dragged home. Up until this sleazy Paige hookup storyline he was considered a good guy and the only thing against him was his age (and hers).

reply

Exactly. This current Paige saga has rendered him totally inappropriate. Before that he was quite the catch.

reply

Oh, I don't think it's a good way to approach it, and I'm not actually fond of the way it's been handled, but I just get the objections to his age and that it's a valid reason for concern in and of itself. But seriously, the age difference is concerning.

reply

Fair enough. The age difference doesn't bother me, personally, but it's realistic it would bother some parents.

How would you feel if it was 18/25 the age difference?

reply

I would be more okay with that age difference. I know you don't somehow become magically more adult once you hit that birthday, but it does make things seem a lot less issue filled for me. I would probably even be okay with 16/20, to be honest. It just feels different, and it's totally subjective, which I do admit.

reply

I agree the 18/25 thing does sound a lot better. Daft as it is. When I was 18, my fella was 27. We dated for 5 years...longer than my marriage!

It's silly that 18 makes the difference, but it does.I'm still pro #piler, despite that.

reply

It is daft but it does feel more okay. Well there you go. When I was 18, I was still with my ex who I was with for a couple of years, but he was my age (and a terrible relationship prospect in the end, but we are friends now, which is cool).

It is silly, but it does seem to. I actually do like them, though honestly part of me wonders if they'll get together and break up a few months in anyway, just given the show.

reply

It's good that Piper is friends with a cat now.

reply

This nothing compared to when Lou Carpenter shagged Annalise Hartman and she went straight from his bedroom to school!

reply

It's funny how they sweep Lou's past as a sex offender under the rug!

reply

Was she in school? I thought she was 19. I know that still makes him 30 years older. I only have vague memories of the storyline though, as my memory sucks.

reply

Really feeling for Piper at the moment. Paige is a bit**.

Tyler is a prick.

Brad and Therese are a disgrace.

Lauren is the only one I have time for.

reply

^Agree with that. I wish Tyler was copping it more though. He seems to be cruising along while Paige cops all the hate. He hasn't even apologised for what he did to Piper, even though she's said sorry about a million times. I'm really anti-Tyler now and he was my dumb crush so now I can't even enjoy his hotness.

reply

Mine too! Now he's lost all his appeal for me.

reply

I feel like everyone, Piper included, needs to grow up right now. They're all acting like idiots. Piper didn't have to do what she did, and neither did Paige or Tyler.

Therese is going through a lot and so is Brad (I recently lost someone and I recognise a lot of what I went through in them).

reply

Yeah, Piper lost people too. In a way, she has now lost Paige too. They're all coping very selfishly, especially Imogen.

reply

They are, though there's no right way to cope with this kind of thing, there's only the way you can, if that makes sense.

Honestly I feel like Imogen could have serious issues later if she hasn't dealt with it all. I doubt it'll ever come up unless the character returns, though.

I also wonder if some of Piper's bonding with the cat was almost related to it, too. I definitely feel like her saying Therese wasn't there might have been - she said she understood about Therese's job - and it is understandable, corporate types are like that - but just the way she said it/the way she looked seemed more like it might be related in some way.

reply

Looking forwad to seeing the film she's making about Clementine.

reply

When is Piper going to get a boyfriend? Or a girlfriend...

reply

I love it when she has her hair like this.

reply

Reminds me a bit of Princess Leia.

reply

Princess Pipethrob.

reply

Her lips are soooooo nice.

reply

LOL, Tyler just can't stay away. I bet he pictures Piper in her uniform every time he porks Paige.

reply

Not enough Piper lately. I guess Mavournee needs a rest from being awesome all the time.

reply

OMG she's got the cute hair again.
