Blue Moon is out there

Has anyone picked up on some X Files links/similarities with Moonlighting?

1. Two polar opposite characters (a boy/a girl) investigating strange cases.

2. A very beautiful, but emotionally inaccessible woman contrasted with a weirdo unconventional man.

3. The gradually developing intimacy of the relationships.

4. Bringing in ex girlfriends (Amanda Donohoe for David Addison / Mimi Rogers for Fox Mulder) and male "interests" (Mark Harmon for Maddie Hayes / some whacko killer types for Gillian Anderson) to heighten jealousy and teritorial feelings within the relationships.

5. Having the alien bounty hunter guy being played by the same guy who chased David and Maddie in the Moonlighting Pilot.

6. Having Charles Rocket feature as David Addison's brother, and also as Susanne Modeski's fiance.

7. The relationship between the two shows seems stronger, for obvious reasons, during the comedic X Files episodes (filmed, as was Moonlighting, in California).

Maybe a bit lame - don't kill me! - but it did cross my mind. I think there were other links too, but I didn't write it all down as the thoughts came to me so these are all I can remember....
