Cybil and Bruce screen test?

I've heard rumors of an actual screentest with these two. Has this surfaced on video? All I've seen is a gal who worked with Bruce and the poor mug who came close(sorta)to be considered. Harley Venton looked like the kind of guy you see on afternoon soaps. Bruce later explained the tests showed "acting cool" and "being cool".
Apparently Bruce was a last ditch attempt to get ABC to put Caron's idea on the network.
Anyone know if Venton had a successful career on stage?

The screentest with Cybill and Bruce is on the Season 5 DVD release.

Thanks, the pairing of those two was the best since Myrna Loy and Wm. Powell.
I've seen a few of the later eps, and was stunned by how deglamorized Cybill looked. Her hair was awful and frequently she had a nose Santa could use. It seemed almost like A STAR IS BORN in reverse.
