Who thinks they'd get along with David Addison

David Addison is one of my alltime favourite characters an I think I would get along with him like a house on fire if he were real. Anyone else agree an what do you think you'd like most about knowing him?

I would not tolerate his sexist attitudes towards women; however, I could learn from him how not to take verbal abuse and verbal putdowns from women and dish it right back to them and argue with them incessantly until they give up. That's what I like about Addison. He doesn't hestitate to back talk to women if they are in the wrong plus he is willing to put his neck on the line to prove that they are wrong and will disobey a direct order to cease his investigation.

I'm not really hungry, but I would like to have reservations somewhere.

I know a lot of women who are misandrists, so don't think that it is a one way street that women are innocent of not verbally and phyiscally abusing their husbands, boyfriends, and other male persons. I have seen it and been through it and have seen women treating each other like dogs, so don't think that it is just men that hate women.

I would get along with him just fine because I am sort of like him. We could really go at it if you know what I mean. I would be apologizing to all future victims.

He's a lot of fun and a real sweetheart underneath all that brashness. I like him but as a 'real person' he'd drive me as nuts as he did Maddie if he clowned around at work as much as he did on the show. The Dave the Joker shtick would get old quick at work.

I could probably hang out and be friends with him, but wouldn't want to work or live with him. I'd probably get along better with Maddie.

Not only that I would, but I was watching the show right at the time of my first job and I was trying to transpose his style there (just imagine).
And it could be even more of that: imagine David Addison, Lorelai Gilmore and Otis B. Driftwood as co-workers!
