Do you know how long I have been waiting for Gummi Bears to come out on DVD???? OVER 10 YEARS!!! And I'm finally beside myself with joy!!!

However, three things that I'm a little bummed about...

1. Why couldn't Disney at least have released this a couple years ago when I still worked for them? It's a great show and worth every penny, but that employee discount sure would've helped...

2. Why did they only release the first 3 seasons?

3. Special features?????

A special feature I would have liked to see is interviews (even brief ones) with the main cast of voice-actors. Even for the ones who have since died, if they showed some clips of them in the studio recording lines that would be something! I'm sure they must have clips and promo material like that. I for one am always intrigued as to what these people really look like!

I'm sure if this box set does well (and it must be) they will release the rest of the episodes in the next year or so....hopefully.

1.I wish they had released it earlier too. It should have been released along with or even before Ducktales & Rescue Rangers.

2.I'm not sure.

3.That's my biggest beef. Why do Disney's cartoon shows have no special features, while their original ones do? A single episode of Darkwing Duck getting dangerous is better than ALL of Disney's products made before 1985 combined, & that's my 5th favorite series! Gummi Bears is by far my favorite of course. It's the best thing Disney has ever did. Next would be Talespin, then 3rd & 4th would be Ducktales & Rescue Rangers. These are true Disney masterpieces. All get 5 stars, except DW, which has 4 and-a-half. But I guess I should be thankful they released them at all. Anyway, that's my say.
