Duke Ightorn, the king's cousin?

I was just thinking... Only princes usually become dukes, and Ightorn talks to the king in a very informal way. So I just wonder, could Ightorn and the king (Gregor?) be cousins or something?

Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

The only relative of Igthorn, as far as I know, is his brother Sir Victor, the White Knight. And I don't believe any cousin of theirs would not be aware of such relation.

So you're saying, that king Gregor wasn't aware, that Ightorn had a brother? I don't remember that episode very well, even though it can't be that long ago, that I watched it. I didn't like it, because I didn't like the way the princess swooned for Sir Victor. I ship her and the page boy, you know, the boy, who also knows about the gumbi bears. (Sorry, I've only watched this show in Swedish, so I'm REALLY bad at the English names of the characters.) But I must say to my defence, that I hadn't seen it yet, when I started this thread, so I didn't know about Ightorn's brother at the time. But anyway, why would Ightorn be a duke, unless he had royal background? Dukes and duchesses are as good as always princes and princesses. But maybe the creators/writers just didn't think that through.
