Yeah, I think he is, though I don't think he's coming on to Gruffi, but he does sort of have that gay style network sort of persona. Maybe the creators found inspiration from someone they knew. Kind of a little before the gay revolution in television, but not hard to imagine. As a funny side note,when I was little, and had crushes on cartoon characters, I always really really liked Gusto. Don't know if that says anything, but there you go.
