A movie based on the series

I think they should definitely make a movie of this. Now, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the minority on this one, but they could make it live action, with the Gummi Bears and ogres all CGI-animated (think 2002's "Scooby-Doo" or 2004's "Garfield"). Maybe we could get Kevin Lima or someone to direct. And the theme song would play over the end credits, expanded to feature lyrics not featured in the show.

The plot would be an expanded version of the "New Beginning" pilot episode.

And for the cast, well, here's all I can think of, for the moment:

We could have Jake T. Austin portray Cavin and Emily Osment to portray Princess Calla. And I definitely think Bill Murray should voice Tummi Gummi, because in live action, Murray portrays/voices characters that are voiced by Lorenzo Music in animation. And maybe we could have either Mae Whitman or Vanessa Anne Hudgens voice Sunni Gummi.

That's all I got.

I agree with the cgi and the expanded version of the pilot but when it comes to the voices, they should get the best voice out there and if it's the ones you mentioned then I'm all for it.

I can't wait for a movie version of the Gummi Bears!

A few years ago there was talk about a direct-to-dvd animated movie following the series, but the DVD sales of the series did not do what the execs were hoping. But, I'd love to see the bears back in any form.

Don't lose your hope. They're making movies of so many series. And I think they should have King Gregor find out the Gummi Bears are real. Who do you think should play Unwin?

Yes make a movie!
