Hi everyone. Has anyone bought the 227 set, seasons 1-5, from TVAddicts for $200? If so, could you let me know if you are satisfied with it, the quality, etc. Why haven't seasons 2-5 been officially released and does anyone know if they ever will be?

I would like to purchase it but I'm just broke. I was waiting for the second season right alone with Gimmie a break. Somebody said it was selling really good so sony opt to not bring out the rest.

I agree completely. I do think the show got better as it went on. At least as far as Sandra goes. I've forgotten the final season but have heard since that it sucked. I don't care really, I would just like to see the whole series again.

shareI've never ordered from them, but I wanted to. Before I placed an order, I checked out the company. They ARE scammers. Google Tvaddicts + scam or complaints and you'll get results back from people who dealt with them, most of them are negative. They run various sites that advertise the same shows under different website names (dvdavenue.tv, TVDVDMania.tv, etc.), but they're all the same people. I think they're based in Asia or something but the dvds come from Canada. In other words, it's not a legit company.
A few people also complained that their credit card were getting charged for items they didn't buy. The site isn't secure (despite what they say) so any info you submit to them can be copied and used by someone else who will probably charge things without your consent. I know it's tempting to order from them because they have just about every show that isn't released on dvd, but if you value your privacy and don't want to get ripped off, DO NOT buy from them. Even if you do get your dvds, you probably won't like the quality. The "professional" dvds you pay for are nothing more than burned dvds of shows taped off television. A lot of the time, the dvds don't even work and the company won't return your emails and I think the phone number they provide isn't real or no one ever answers. Something like that anyhow.

Personally, I really wanted to order from them because some of the shows they have will probably never be released on dvd, but I'd rather not have a show than get scammed. They're bootleg items and if you buy them and get ripped off, your credit card company might not grant you a charge back seeing as they don't condone the purchasing of bootleg items. It's way too much money to lose to get something that probably won't work or is total crap.

I asked them last night by email what they had to say about them taking peoples money and they don't even speak kindergarten english !!!!! Thier foreign people who takes peoples money and ripps them off !!! they wouldn't answer any of my questions when i asked about thier negetive feedback

May not even matter now that this is coming out on DVD, but ioffer and sell.com have DVDs. I've had very few problems.
