Brenda's voice was so whiny. "But Moooooom" Am I the only one who ever noticed that? I don't completely mind the character itself and Regina King is a fine actress (she was only 14 when it started, so I give her a break), but I just wish someone on set had told her at some point, "You don't need to sound like a child begging for ice cream every time you open your mouth to say a line."

share@ Asylumer <<<< Totally agree. After watching a number of eps during a 227 marathon on Centric this wknd, my wife pointed out a similar sentiment of the OP. I told her that after seeing her in different roles, I assume she was probably just directed to deliver her lines in that whiny manner.
