Whatever happened to Rose's daughter Tiffany?
One day she just disappeared like Judy in family matters without any explanation.

shareGlad u mentioned that because Im just now rewatching this show and totally forgot that Tiffany was one of the first kids gone missing from a show. Then there was Judy and sure others came after and/or in between.
The actual first character that was MIA from family that I recall was that from Happy Days - older brother whose name I believe was Chuck.
Poop in his hand ... Poop in his hand
Married...with Children dealt with it the funniest way with the character Seven appearing on the side of a milk carton.
shareHuh? Was it Seven or Steven?
Ready or not, here we are.
LOL....yeah that was a crazy part I didn't get the part of Seven. Yes his name was Seven. In that case they could have just wrote out Peggy real life pregnancy. Then Marcy and her husband they never had their kid she was just pregnant along with Peg.
shareSeven was the child of "white trash" cousins of Peggy's. He got foisted on the Bundys and when Al saw what the home he came from was like, he let him stay. Next season, he was gone with no explanation, but with gags like the milk carton given.
shareAlright. I haven't seen this show in ages. I still don't remember that character.

Chuck actually died in the war, was mourned for one episode and was never mentioned again

There was no episode dealing with Chuck's disappearance. He was simply written out with no explanation.
shareWell at least Tiffany was mentioned on occasion unlike Judy was or Morgan on Boy Meets World who disappeared for like 2 years with no explanation.
Just got secretly engaged to the best guy ever!!
OK, but that still doesn't answer the question of what the hell happened to the character of Tiffany. Anyone know why she was taken out of the show?
shareRose mentioned in a few episodes that Tiffany was visiting her grandparents.
From that point on they simply stop taking about her altogether.
I've been wondering about Tiffany for years. I don't know the reason behind it, but getting rid of her was a really dumb move.
As for Chuck on "Happy Days", what war was he killed in? There was no war going on in the '50s. I don't remember that episode.
Chuck Cunningham from Happy Days did not "die in the war". Happy Days was a sitcom for crying out loud, there was never an episode where the family mourned his death. He simply went upstairs and never came down, hence the phrase "Chuck Cunningham syndrome" that refers to a regular series character that disappears and is rarely or never referred to again.
And there certainly was a war during the 1950s. Remember the Korean War? Yeah, that was a real thing. Not just a plot device for M*A*S*H*.
She was sporadically seen and mentioned after season 1, but eventually they just stopped talking about her. Based on season 1, I think the producers were originally trying to set her and Brenda up as the latter day version of Mary and Rose, but it didn't work. Tiffany always felt "extra" and with her gone, the show could focus more on Brenda and Calvin.
shareThe actress who played the Tiffany character could not hold her own against Regina King. Like the person above said, she always felt "extra." The same feeling kind of resonated with that girl from FAMILY MATTERS. Both actresses were weak with no particular charisma whatsoever.
By comparison, have you ever watched Regina King's sister in WHAT'S HAPPENNING NOW!!!? She was a perfect example of one of those kids who would've quietly disappeared if the show had been a big hit. She was awful then! (I'm not saying NOW because I haven't seen her since!)
Regina King just had "it" apparently from the get-go. She's brilliant in BOONDOCKS.
