In the few episodes Rose's daughter Tiffany appeared in, whenever she spoke to Mary she always called her 'Mrs. Jenkins' but when Brenda spoke to Rose, she always called her 'Aunt Rose'...whats the deal with that?
'When there's no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.'
Never noticed. Maybe Brenda felt closer, more comfortable with 'Aunt Rose'than Tiffany did with 'Mrs. Jenkins'. I think they called Sandra 'Ms. Clark', too. Sandra seemed like the type that would've been cool with the kids simply calling her Sandra.
I noticed that too. Mary and Rose were best friends to the point of Brenda referring to Rose as "Aunt Rose," so realistically Tiffany should have referred to Mary as "Aunt Mary" as well. No doubt an oversight by writers who only barely wrote for the Tiffany character. With Brenda, they were more focused on developing character-driven details (that would include giving more thought to how she'd refer to the other characters). Since Tiffany was only rarely used, and only really interacted with Brenda, they overlooked all that.
Maybe that's why Tiffany ceased to exist after the second season. She refused to refer to Mary as "Aunt Mary" and so she was deleted with everyone--including her own mother--forgetting she ever existed. ;)
I know this threads old but could be Rose was considered Brendas godmother. Also noticed you posting in various pages I venture to - unsure if ur trolling or actually interested in all these shows.
