They finally aired it on Centric. Double Your Pleasure was a tv-movie in which Jackee played a dual role as twins. They also filmed an episode of 227 based on this called Double Your Pleasure. Sandra and her long lost identical cousin Chonquita fall out over Carlos. This episode is rarely shown.
shareI thought I was the only one that remembered the movie but I think that the episode came out before the T.V movie because I remember Jackee was on Arsenio Hall talking about the movie and the topic of her leaving 227 came up.

Yes the episode aired before the movie, but both were taped in 1988. The movie didn't come out until 1989. I would like to get my hands on that movie I caught a rerun of it once about 5 years ago.

Also I was listening to Kym Whitley say she actually played Jackee's stand-in in the 227 Episode of Double Your Pleasure. She said she was in the audience of 227 one day and Marla Gibbs asked her to stand up and asked if she was Jackee's sister. She thought the was a deadringer for Jackee. Months later they decided on the twin episode and Marla remembered Kym and had her flown from Ohio to tape with Jackee. Kym said Jackee was an absolute biotch to her and eventually years later they actually became friends. Interesting story.
