I just finished watching Marty's Masterpiece, again. I'm quite surprised it never was nominated for any Meyer's awards.33 years since it's release and it is still such a powerful portrait of the life of a rock band.Others have tried, but failed miserably to capture his talent.Almost Famous, well the title was half right. Rock Star, maybe someday? Spinal Tap is the band that broke the mold and Marty was the genius to get it on film. Bravo, bravo.

I rewatched this for the first time in a while and was expecting a total s***-sandwich, pleased to find it it's still holds up, great movie.
